Dexter + Vicki // Downtown Iowa City Engagement
I love when couples choose locations that are personal to their story. Dexter and Vicki's story began at Iowa years before, so the Pentacrest and downtown Iowa City were the perfect choices for their engagement portraits.
I don't think we could have asked for a more beautiful evening for their session. They are such a sweet couple and an absolute joy to work with!
Dexter is more reserved with his smiles, but I did manage to make him laugh at least once.
After college, Dexter and Vicki began working for the same company in Iowa. When the company shared it's plans to relocate to North Carolina, Dexter and Vicki chose to go with them. I had so much fun chatting with them and reminisce about some of my North Carolina faves. I'm happy to say they are Cheerwine fans as well.
Of course, no portraits in Iowa City featuring Iowa grads are complete without showing off their love of the Hawkeyes!
I love downtown Iowa City. It is packed full of amazing locations all within a couple of block. I had the best time wandering downtown and getting to know Dexter and Vicki better!
