Last spring, we celebrated the graduation of my oldest daughter at our home near Wellman. It was an absolutely beautiful day all around!
Cynthia Betts of Vintage Love Rentals in Des Moines, a dear friend, absolutely knocked the decor and flowers out of the park! My daughter wanted a garden tea party vibe and Cynthia delivered.
We showcased her favorite books on the hutch. They were beautiful decor as well as a wonderful personal touch for the party.
To keep with the tea party feel, we had small bite of sweet and savory items.
Of course, we had to stop for a family photo at the end of the day. Hard to believe she's well into living her best college life at Wartburg, studying biology now.
My brother and his family were able to come out and join us from Nebraska. We always try to get a good picture of the cousins together whenever we get the chance.
I hope you enjoyed a little look at Laurelin's graduation party. I am proud beyond words of her and all of her accomplishments. I cannot wait to see what the future holds. Knowing her, I'm sure it will be filled with reptiles and joy.
