The Hicks Family
I had so much fun working with the Hicks family. We met at Kent Park on a sunny October evening. The golden light through the trees and grasses of the park was a stunning setting for this beautiful family.
Their whole family has such stunning bright blue eyes. The blues in their outfits really made them pop.
In addition to family portraits, we captured some portraits of each of their children individually and some of them together. When I went to pose them sitting in the grass, I had intended to sit them side by side, knowing often siblings aren't super keen on being in each other's personal space much. However, little sister had other plans. She hopped right down onto big brother's lap with a giggle as let out a little grunt from the unexpected weight of his sister in his lap. It was perfect, siblings at their best. Love it! It made for some great portraits!
