101616D-02 On a gray October afternoon, I headed to Gray's Lake in Des Moines for the Daniels-Way family's session.  It was great to see them all again!  The last time I was fortunate enough to work with this beautiful family their little guy was just a wee little newborn.  Hard to believe that was just over a year ago.  My how he has grown!

101616D-09 101616D-11 He was so excited to be out in nature.  He was ready to explore and was not interested in portraits.  He had so much fun with the leaves and sticks.

101616D-12 101616D-16 Thankfully, I had recently purchased a vintage chair and had it in the back of my car.  He had a great time bouncing on it!  Such sweet smiles!
