On a hot, humid Saturday at the end of August, I headed to Palmyra, Missouri for Michael and Lisa's wedding day. The day began at their property just a few miles outside of town. The ladies got ready in a sewing studio at the neighbors' house, while the guys got ready in the neighbors' house.
Before heading to the ceremony, Michael and Lisa each opened their gifts to each other.
I love that the bridesmaids dresses all show off their beautiful cowgirl boots!
Michael's son and Lisa's daughter were their ring bearer and flower girl. They were so sweet!!!
As Lisa walked down the aisle, escorted by her father, she sang "Bless the Broken Road" to Michael. It was beautiful!
The ceremony took place in a grove of trees on their property. Guests were seated on hay bales, very fitting of their rustic, country style wedding.
I love the custom built stage where they said their vows. It was so fitting in the woods. The fabric draped on it added an elegance to it and the antler decorations gave it even more of a natural feel. Beautiful!
Their children joined them in their sand ceremony. Such a beautiful symbol of the joining of their lives.
Be sure to check back soon for more from Michael and Lisa's beautiful wedding day!
