On a beautiful September evening, I met with Faith at Seed Savers Exchange in Decorah for her senior portrait session.
Seed Savers is a stunning location and I always love an opportunity to use is for portraits. I love the variety in backgrounds around the main building, but my favorite by far is the orchard area. So beautiful! It was the perfect setting for the gorgeous Faith. I tell you, this young lady is beautiful inside and out. She is smart, kind, sweet and a little shy. It was such a pleasure capturing her portraits.
Faith is a senior in Mabel, Minnesota. As she finished her senior year, she is looking forward to her future studies. She in considering something in the healthcare field, possibly going to med school. She wants to help others. So beautiful!
The light of sunset was just peeking over the trees in the shot above. Her quiet, contemplative pose is so perfect in this portrait. I love everything about it.
After Seed Savers, before we lost the evening light, we made a quick stop along the road for a few pictures in the pampas grass before heading out to another Decorah landmark, the trout hatchery. I love pampas grass as a backdrop. The colors and lines are beautiful.
As the last light of the evening was fading away, we were able to capture some final images at the fish hatchery with their cascading waterfall in the background. Perfection!
Thank you so much to Faith for being the amazing person she is and allowing me to take her senior portraits! I wish you all the best in your senior year and know wonderful things are in store for you.
