012217-01 Oh my word, this sweet little guy is perfection.  Truly!  Little Alec made a surprise debut into the world nine weeks early.  While having a bit of a tough start, as most premature babies do, he was released from the hospital earlier than anticipated and is doing great.  

At the time of his session, Alec was 7 weeks old, but really -2 weeks based on gestational age.  So he was still sleepy and loved to be curled up in the wraps.  Right before the session, he ate well and slept like a champ though the entire session.

012217-06 012217-10 Alec's parents are Cubs fans, not new Cubs fans or fickle ones.  They are die hard Cubs followers.  His older brother's middle name is Wrigley and his middle name is Bryzzo.  So it seemed only fitting to do a few pics on big brother's "Cubbie" blanket with one of Dad's hats.  Love it!

012217-15 012217-17 Six years ago, I photographed Alec's big brother in this little basket.  I made sure to bring it along for his session.  I love being able to use one or two of the same props for sibling.  Just adds a little something to tie them together.

012217-23 012217-26 012217-29 012217-32 012217-38 012217-39 Big brother was not super interested in taking a break from playing to have his portrait taken, but I'm glad he did.  I love the little smile on his face as he looked at his baby brother.  Too sweet!
