Owen {Newborn}
Meet Owen, the adorable little guy who recently made his debut into the world. I was so excited to head to Minnesota for his newborn session. His dad has been great friends with my husband since before grade school and myself since I moved to Iowa in high school, and we've been friends with his mom since they started dating in college. I was so happy to have the opportunity to capture portraits for their new addition to their family.
Okay, can we just take a minute to appreciate those cheeks? Oh my word, simply adorable!
Owen's mom has been riding horses since she was mere days old. It seemed only fitting to get some portraits of him on one of her saddles. However, he was not at all interested in doing so. We managed to get something figured out and it's simply adorable.
The quilt Owen is laying on, is one that was hand made for his father by his grandmother for his high school graduation. What a perfect addition to the portraits!
Owen's dad has been playing piano since he was a very young child and is a wonderful pianist. I adore the portraits of him laying on the music. So perfect!
At the end of the session, we focused on some family portraits. I love the black and white image above. Beautiful!
