It was a hot (and I mean HOT, 80+ degrees at 9:00 AM) and windy morning when I met up with the beautiful Witthoft family in Washington for their portrait session.  Thankfully they were amazing and braved the heat and wind like it wasn't a thing.  It was such a blast working with them.  How sweet are they?!  I don't think they're kiddos could get any cuter!

061117-03 I love when families come to me with locations that are special to them.  For the Witthoft family, this little area behind the middle school is where it all began for them.  It was here, years ago, that they hung out and started their journey together.  How beautiful is that?  While I love the simplicity of the bricks and the stairs for posing, the history of the location for them makes their portraits so much better.  I love it!!
