080717-01 On a sunny Monday in August, I headed to Apple River, Illinois to capture Jason and Amy's anniversary and family portraits.  We met at the gorgeous Oak Hill Weddings, where just under a year before they had said their vows.  I had not previously had the pleasure of photographing there, but LOVED the location!

080717-05 Jason and Amy's son Gavin, was such a great little model!  He was so much fun to work with!  I mean, how could you not love that sweet little smile?!  Adorable!!

080717-06 080717-08 The row of evergreens, strung with lights, was a gorgeous location.  I love the bokeh of the lights in the background, simply magical!

080717-11 080717-14 080717-18 I love that they chose to do an anniversary session in the location where they got married.  What a special moment to capture in their lives; their first anniversary and the beautiful family they have created.  Perfection!
