Joe + Lynda {Wedding: Part 1}

It was a hot September day when we arrived at Hunter's Ridge for Joe and Lynda's wedding, but the skies were clear and it was a beautiful day. Inside the Hunter's Ridge clubhouse, the room was beautifully decorated for their celebration. The flowers in the bouquets and boutonnieres were made of wooden flowers. So unusual, yet absolutely stunning! Love the Spiderman on their cake!! Such a fun touch for their sweet little guy, Elijah. Love that he's working on a web! For their first look, we headed to a beautiful set of willow trees in the lawn of the clubhouse. The afternoon light in the branches was magical. After their first look, they shared a first look with Elijah. I love his fun run over to see them. This boy has so much character! What a joy to work with! The willows were a great shady location for portraits, though a bit buggy thanks to all the recent rain. Thankfully, this group was amazing and we were able to work quickly to get them out of the bugs and heat. Family portraits took place by the willows as well, just to the side. Such a beautiful backdrop for this gorgeous day!

I love the images of Lynda laughing with her dad. He wasn't much for smiling in photos, but these moments are so sweet.
