Scott + Meagan {Wedding: Part 1}
What a beautiful fall day Scott and Meagan had! I absolutely adored capturing their wedding day!
We began the day at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Davenport as Scott and Meagan prepared for their wedding ceremony.
I love having time to capture the details of the wedding day. Couples spend so much time planning everything from the invitations to the flowers to shoes and more. Those details deserve to be captured beautifully.
Scott and Meagan chose not to do a first look, so we spent a little time with the guys and ladies separately before the ceremony began. The courtyard area of the church made for a lovely backdrop.
Scott and Meagan first met at a local bar in Davenport called Kilkenny's. Neither of them really want to go out that evening, but they joined their friends anyway. They saw each other across the room and ended up next to each other ordering drinks. They started talking and the rest is history!
Their first date was Scott's birthday. They enjoyed and evening out at a restaurant, where they talked and laughed and Meagan spilled a whole glass of water everywhere. Then they headed to a bar/restaurant where Scott's band practiced and they were having a birthday party for him. They spent the evening there and went upstairs where Scott played a song he had written.
Their ceremony was lovely. Meagan's adorable niece served as flower girl and did such a great job. Look at her cute sparkly sneakers and she toddled down the aisle. So cute!! A perfect pairing to Meagan's receptions shoes. Love it!
This moment. I love this moment so much. Look at the smile on her dad's face as he hugs her. It melts my heart.
