Albums
I love albums. Not only are they beautiful, they tell the story of one of the best days of your life, your wedding day. I'm all for printing stunning images of your wedding day as large prints or canvases to be wall art in your home. In fact, I absolutely encourage it! But albums are something equally important.
Albums are a storybook of your love that will bring you back to the excitement, joy, and celebration of your wedding day. Albums are a way to tell your love story to future generations and create a family heirloom that is treasured by all. There is nothing better in all the world than love. A family rooted in love is a beautiful thing.
Of course, albums are for more than wedding days. Engagement (or newborn or family portrait) albums are another fantastic way to showcase your love for each other. They are a stunning way to display your beautiful portraits that you can keep on the coffee table to peruse as you like. They are the perfect item to take out and fill your heart with joy as you are reminded just how much your love your spouse, even and maybe especially on days when you start to forget.
I treasure the scrapbooks and albums I have of my husband and I from our time dating. Life gets busy and we seem to constantly be on the go, my husband with nursing school and myself with meetings, sessions, and weddings. Some days we lose sight of each other and forget to truly appreciate our love for one another. Having our photos that highlight our love story help to remind us just how wonderful we are together and how much we truly love each other. Our children love looking through old photos of us as well. I'm doubtful they get quite the feels we do from those images, but there is no doubt at all in our daughters' minds as to how much their parents love each other.
