Each year, I accept a limited number of seniors. This fall, I had they pleasure of working with Marina, a senior at Mid-Prairie. We started her session out in the country, not too far from the studio, where the wildflowers were absolutely stunning. Marina's favorite color is yellow and her favorite flowers are sunflowers, so this was a perfect setting for this gorgeous senior!
I love the simplicity of Marina's white dress and romper in this setting, such a classic, elegant look.
It took a little hiking to get out to this field, but the flowers looked like they went on forever. Such a beautiful location, especially in the evening light!
Marina chose to do two separate senior sessions. So for her second session, we headed to Iowa City/Coralville and took advantage of this gorgeous moss wall along the paths in Coralville. The moss green in contrast with her red leather jacket was beautiful.
The light in the pampas grass was perfect. I love the orange shirt she wore, what a stunning pop of color! I think it really complimented her eyes and made her look even more stunning, which is impressive as she is a beautiful young lady.
After the trails, we headed to the Ped Mall area to take advantage of some of the fun locations there. I love the variety of painted bricks and murals in that area.
Marina is enjoying her senior year at Mid-Prairie, staying busy with Madrigal choir, dance, violin, and ballet to name a few of the activities she enjoys participating in. She is looking forward to what next year will hold and considering which college to attend. The fun thing is, she's considering Luther, where I graduated from year ago!
After the Ped Mall, we headed to the U of I's dance building, where Marina spent many years learning ballet.
We ended the session in the area around the IMU, where the evening light was perfect.
Best wishes to Marina as she finishes her senior year! I am sure the future holds wonderful things for the brilliant, talented young lady!!
