Oh my word! I had so much fun in Souix Falls with Peter and Kimberly during their engagement session! What an amazing opportunity!
Peter and Kimberly first met in law school at Iowa. They now work as lawyers in the Souix City area and love it there. They wanted to be sure to capture that part of their life and love story for their engagement portraits. I love when couples have a special location they want to use for their photos!
These photos were taken near the building where Kimberly works in downtown Sioux Falls. Such a beautiful area! They shared with me about the stone used in the buildings, it is from local quarries and is pretty unique to Sioux Falls. I really enjoyed hearing them share about the history of the city they love.
There were so many great locations within walking distance! I had such a wonderful time wandering downtown with Peter and Kimberly and getting to know them better.
We ended our session at Falls Park, which was GORGEOUS! Peter and Kimberly stopped and picked up their sweet little pup, Mainer, on our way there. He was born to model!!
While chatting with Peter and Kimberly during their session, I learned Peter played bagpipes! Love it! I have a set of bagpipes from my father that he used to play. I'm hoping Peter can give me some pointers on how to properly assemble them. How fun is that!?
I am so excited for Peter and Kimberly's wedding this coming June! It is going to be beautiful!!
