071419-003 It was a hot July evening when I met with Josh and Jessica in Muscatine for their engagement session. Thankfully, Josh and Jessica are awesome and handled the heat like pros.

We began the session at the park along the Mississippi River where Josh and Jessica enjoyed their first date. I love when we're able to use a location that is so significant to a couple. It just makes their photos even more special. 071419-005 071419-013 071419-017 A little further down from the fountain area at the park was a building with these fantastic green doors. They made Jessica's gorgeous red hair and green eyes pop! 071419-030 071419-038 071419-057 After we finished at the park by the river, we headed over to another park where Josh and Jessica enjoy spending time with their adorable dog, Scout.
