Today's edition of "Wedding Wednesday" is focused on the Groom's details on the wedding day. I feel like a lot of times this is overlooked, but the groom's and groomsmen's detail are an important aspect of the day.
Let's face it, usually guys don't care too much about photos, so don't be afraid to help your groom out. Let him know his details will be photographed and to wait to put them on until after the photographer has had a chance to style and capture them. Plus, putting on the final details make for the best getting ready photos so he should wait to put them on when the photographer is there anyway.
Here is a list of details to have your groom gather:
- shoes
- cufflinks
- ring (if not already with the bride's rings)
- watch
- boutonniere
- socks, if he's wearing a fun/special pair
- bow tie/tie/pocket square
- groomsmen's gifts
- jacket(s)
- any heirloom or unique items
I hope this has helped you prepare for detail photos. Be sure to check out our other Wedding Wednesday posts for more wedding tips and tricks!
