Shoshie is a natural in front of the camera! She is a confident and fierce young lady and an absolute pleasure to photograph!
Originally, Shoshie's session was scheduled for the day after the derecho that hit Iowa. Due to needing to get fallen trees cleared at both of our properties, we had to postpone, but honestly I think the new date worked out even better. We had a perfect evening for her portraits, not nearly as hot as the week before.
After spending some time around the IMU, we headed to one of the university's art buildings. The bold teal water was a fabulous backdrop for this bold teen.
I'm not sure what building it was, but we happened upon this metal wall. Love it so much!! The texture and neutral tone really make her pop!
I love her fun soft blue sundress!!
In the area by Hancher, the light through the trees was gorgeous! I love the warm light with Shoshie's fabulous blue dress. So beautiful!
Our final stop was at Terry Trueblood. The light was perfect! Soshie was positively glowing in the evening light.
These last few portraits are some of my favorites of the day. The sun had gone behind the trees, but the beautiful rosy evening light was so lovely. Especially with her pink dress! So gorgeous!!
It was an absolute pleasure capturing Shoshie's senior portraits! Thank you, Shoshie, for allowing me to do so!! Best wishes as you complete your senior year!!
