At the end of May, I had the pleasure of assisting Emily Crall Photography as she captured Morgan and Ben's beautiful wedding at the Grand River Center. I love Dubuque and the Grand River Center is one of my favorite venues there. I was excited to be back there again.
The windows in the Grand River Center and a photographer's dream! So much gorgeous natural light!! Morgan put her gown on in the banquet hall, then stepped out into the back lobby for her finishing touches. This worked out perfectly for stunning getting ready images!
Morgan shared a first look with her father in the gardens in front of the venue. It was beautiful!
Their florals were stunning!! The white blossoms in various shapes, sizes, and textures intermixed with greenery created absolutely beautiful bouquets!!
Ben and Morgan chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but wanted a moment to connect before the wedding began. At the corner of the church, they were able to hold hands, talk, and have a moment together.
Their ceremony was beautiful!
After the church, we stopped by a park that overlooked Dubuque where they popped some champagne. I love how those portraits turned out! What a fun celebration with their bridal party!!
The packing district in Dubuque is filled with amazing portrait locations! I love the ivy covered wall, the brick, the doors, all of it!
Their wedding reception was a beautiful party; stunning decor, heartfelt toasts, and lots of laughter!
After dinner, we stepped outside for portraits along the river. Unfortunately, the clouds prevented the sunset from shining through, but the light was still soft and beautiful!
I hope you enjoyed this peek at Morgan and Ben's beautiful wedding day! A huge thank you to Emily Crall Photography for allowing me to help you capture their big day! It was a pleasure, as always, working with you and the happy couple!!
