In June, I had the opportunity to head to Northeast Iowa to assist White Weddings with capturing Chance and Allie's gorgeous wedding in Fort Atkinson. I so was excited to have a chance to go back to an area of Iowa I love to capture a beautiful wedding!
I began my day with Chance and his guys, which is quite the change of pace from my typical wedding. Usually, my assistant is with the guys while I'm capturing the bride and her ladies. I haven't had the opportunity to style guy's details in a while and it was so much fun!
Chance and Allie had rented some gorgeous cabins outside of Ft. Atkinson. Once the guys were ready, we headed over to the ladies' cabin for the first look and bridal party portraits.
Chance had the best reaction when he turned to see Allie for the first time on their wedding day! He was completely blown away by his gorgeous bride!!
We started portraits with Chance and Allie while the bridal party finished getting ready. Allie's bouquet was filled with beautiful wooden blossoms, greenery, and pampas grass that she collected from her family farm last fall.
After a little time with the guys, we got the whole bridal party together for a few portraits before we headed over to the ceremony location. I love the soft green and and blush tones in their wedding colors!
The ceremony was held at Allie's family home. When she arrived, she shared a first look with her dad. Such a beautiful moment!
Their ceremony was filled with laughter and love, as well as many happy tears!
At the back of one of their barns was a stunning willow tree. I love willows! The afternoon light was absolutely perfect for portraits. So stunning!!
Chance and Allie have two sweet little Dachshunds who were dressed in an adorable flower collar and bow tie. They joined in for a few portraits.
A big thank you to White Weddings for allowing me to assist you in capturing Chance and Allie's gorgeous day! It was a joy working with you and the happy couple!!
