Such a gorgeous day! Kirk and Alicia's wedding day was perfect from beginning to end. We began the day at their beautiful home in the country near Swisher where we had captured their engagement portraits earlier this summer.
After their first look, Alicia shared a beautiful moment with Kirk's sons as they saw her for the first time in her wedding dress. It was so sweet watching the joy on their faces as they ran over to hug her.
She got a big thumbs up and was told she looked like a princess. Too sweet!!
It was so fun to go around their property again. They have such a beautiful lane!
The sun was still high in the sky and it was a warm August day, but the images with the timber look simply magical! That light!!
Before we headed into their ceremony/reception, we captured family portraits. There was a beautiful location just down the street from their reception hall.
I love styling details! Alicia had saved the fabric from her dress alterations and it made for a perfect backdrop to style their rings.
Kirk and Alicia's ceremony was short and intimate, with just their witnesses present. They preferred the attention of the day be on celebrating with their friends and family.
Their reception was filled with laughter, joy, and celebration.
The dance floor was kicked off by the kiddos. Let me tell you, they had some mad skills and lots of enthusiasm!
At sunset, we popped back over to where we had taken family portraits earlier in the afternoon. The evening light through the trees was gorgeous!
It was such a joy working with Kirk and Alicia, as well as their friends and family! Such a joyous day!! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
