The Juergensen Family // Riverview Park Marshalltown Family Portraits
Say "hello" to the Juergensen family! How beautiful are they?! I have to say, I was so excited when Alyssa reached out to set up their family portrait session. What feels like yesterday, though somehow a couple years have passed, I photographed Cale and Alyssa's gorgeous wedding day. Now, they have a sweet little guy! Seriously, how adorable is he?!!
I met with the Juergensens at Riverview Park in Marshalltown, a spot about halfway between their home and my studio. I have to say the park did not disappoint! It was a gorgeous location and we were lucky to get their session in before the storm rolled in and the skies opened up. Talk about timing!
Of course, we had to get a few of Mom and Dad together. I think it's so important to take a couple moment for portraits of just them during family sessions. Yes, it is a celebration of family during a family session, but the core of any family is the parents. Their relationship is just as important as the family as a whole and should be honored.
I just love their soft, pastel color pallet!
Their little guy came ready to run and explore, but he did an amazing job with his portraits too. Lots of little breaks to get his zoomies out and he had lots of smiles for the camera. Love it!!
