celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0007  It was a simply perfect June day, when we arrive at Celebration Farm in Iowa City for Fletcher and Allison's wedding day.  celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0008 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0009  It is rare I have the opportunity to capture the reception details before anyone arrives and I loved having time to photograph all of their beautiful decor.  The vintage chairs for the bride and groom were lovely, draped with ivy.  Their wedding colors of blue, yellow, and green were carried throughout the room, not only in the floral design, but also with the napkins at each table.  Lovely!  celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0010 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0011 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0012 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0013  I absolutely adore their cake.  The rainbow watercolor design added a bright splash of color and the gold leaf elevated the look.  The petit fours had rainbow drizzles on top and looked absolutely delicious!   celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0014 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0015 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0016 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0017 celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0018 In lieu of traditional flowers, Fletcher and Allison's florals were wooden.  It still blows my mind that they are so soft and flexible.  I think they made for a lovely design.  Plus, no wilting or getting crushed while greeting guests.  celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0019  Allison's ring showcased a gorgeous peacock sapphire.  It's blue-green-yellow hues were the inspiration for their wedding colors.  I love it!!  Fletcher's ring is set with two family diamonds, creating a new heirloom.  I love when there is so much sentiment and history at a wedding.   celebration-farm-wedding-iowa-city-wedding-photographer-destination-weddings_0020 I'm absolutely obsessed with the heart the light created in her ring!
