Loved this session so much! Emma has been a friend of my daughter's since they were tiny. I'm not even sure how the time flew so quickly and senior year arrived. I'm pretty sure they're both still eight, running around and giggling. We started out the session at Wellman's North Park. I love the band shell there. It makes for a beautiful, simple background which was perfect with Emma's white dress and sneakers. Foster Woods, just outside of Wellman, is gorgeous in the evening light. The pond there is so serene, as are the woods. It was a perfect portrait location for Emma! Unfortunately the day before Emma's session, the Mid-Prairie track began demolition before it was repaved. We improvised and headed over to Highland's track in Riverside. The evening light here was stunning for this gorgeous girl! I absolutely love the portrait of her crouched on the starting line. Emma is a phenomenal track and field athlete, competing in long jump and sprints. I am so glad we were able to capture portraits that reflect that aspect of her life. Impromptu at the very end of the session, we had Emma change back into her beautiful white dress so we could capture a few portraits with the hazy sunset. It was dreamy!
Congratulations to Emma on her senior year! I hope you all enjoyed this little peek at her senior session!!
