Chris + Ashley {Engaged}
On a beautiful Sunday in May, I met with Chris and Ashley in Iowa City at City Park for their engagement session. I so enjoyed working with them both, there was a lot of laughter and fun. There are many fun and silly "outtakes" that didn't make it on here, but were a perfect part of the session.
My favorite location in City Park is the willow down on the river. In the late afternoon/evening it is beautifully lit from the west. The branches create a stunning backdrop of bright golden-green. I adore the photos of Chris and Ashley snuggled together in the branches. Beautiful!
Another great spot in City Park is Shakespeare theatre. In the afternoon, it is nicely shaded in cool light. The gray tones created a beautiful soft background.
It was such a pleasure working with these two love birds. I am looking forward to capturing Chris and Ashley's wedding in Dubuque this fall!
