Zack + Leah {Wedding: Part 1}
On a sunny Saturday at the end of July, my assistant. Michael, and I headed to Dubuque for Zack and Leah's wedding day. The Grand River Center was the place to be that day, filled with people coming and going, as well as several wedding parties preparing to celebrate. We headed up to the rooms where Zack and Leah were getting ready to capture the details as they put on their finishing touches.
Zack and Leah chose not to see each other before the wedding. So as soon as the guys were ready, we headed over to the River Room to begin their portraits. On the way, we stopped in the bridge that spans the space between the hotel and the ballrooms. We stopped there again with the ladies on the way to the reception. I love all the natural light. Beautiful!
The ceremony was held in the River Room. This gorgeous glass room stands above the River Walk, over looking the Mississippi. In addition to the beautiful view, the light in the River Room as a photographer's dream. We had so much fun capturing their beautiful ceremony.
They made their exit from the Grand River Center in Zack's Mustang he's been restoring. Such a beautiful car! It was their perfect "get away" vehicle.
