080616-01 At the beginning of August, I headed south of Iowa City to the home of the Hotka family.  I fell in love with their rustic white washed barn immediately.  Come on, how could I not?  It was a great background for this beautiful family, especially with their rustic denim and white colors.  

Speaking of colors, can I just take a moment to point out how amazing their outfits look?  They all kept with the same colors, blue and white, but each outfit has it's own personality and their is a beautiful variety of textures and patterns throughout.  I love how they work together so well visually without "matching".

080616-20 In preparation for their session, the Hotka's had a hay wagon set up and ready for their portraits.  I love all of the rustic/farm touches in their portraits.
