080317-10080317-10 On a gray August morning, the fates aligned and I received a phone call from Nick's mom.  She was at the location for Nick's senior portraits and their original photographer was a no-show.  As luck would have it, I had the day slated for editing and was able to fit them in my schedule right away.  So I packed up my camera gear quick and headed to meet them at the Iowa River Power Restaurant to begin his session.

080317-33080317-33 Before leaving the Iowa River Power area, we stopped by their classic brick wall for a few last portraits.  Just as we were finishing, the skies, which had been growing ominous, began to open up.  Thankfully, we were out of the rain pretty quickly and on our way to the next location.

It was such a pleasure working with Nick and capturing his senior portraits!  I wish him all the best as he goes into his senior year!!
