Greg + Meredith {Wedding: Part 1}
When we arrived at Zion Lutheran in Iowa City, the skies were overcast. The gray skies didn't dampen the excitement as Greg and Meredith prepared for their wedding day.
Once this gorgeous couple was ready, we headed to Hickory Hill Park for their first look. Hickory Hill holds a special place in Meredith's heart, as it was somewhere she frequently visited growing up. What a perfect location for this part of their wedding day!
Meredith's sister walked with her part of the way to the first look. I love this quick hug before they parted ways and Meredith headed on to see Greg for the first time on their wedding day! Sisterly love!!
Their first look was so sweet! Joy was radiating from them. Perfection!
After a few portraits on the bridge, we gathered the bridal party for some pictures with a beautiful wooded backdrop. I love the blues and grays with hints of blush in their wedding colors. So lovely!!
The overcast skies thankfully didn't open up to rain and offered us gorgeous even lighting through the portraits. It was perfect for photographing these beautiful families, all of whom were so excited to see Meredith and Greg say, "I do."
