The Red Barn at Pine Creek
I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing a styled shoot at a brand new venue in Marengo, The Red Barn at Pine Creek. Oh my word! It was AMAZING!! Not only is the venue fabulous, a mix of rustic and elegant, it has about 300 acres of beauty around it. It has it all; timber, fields of wildflowers, a pond, and more! I could shoot out there for days. LOVE!!
We started the shoot, after some detail shots of course, with a first look with the couple. It was so fun to see their excitement. They are actually going to do this all for real in just a few weeks time.
I love this dress, provided by Bridal Dreams in Oskaloosa who also provided all of the outfits and accessories for our models! The back of it is stunning and the lace is gorgeous. So beautiful!!
Eden Salon from Kalona provided hair and makeup for the shoot. SO GORGEOUS! They did a fantastic job on the bride and bridesmaid.
E's Florals from Solon did the floral arrangements for the whole shoot. I am officially obsessed!!! The colors, the textures, everything!!!
I love the light in the tent at The Red Barn. The best part? This tent is there and available for any wedding booked there, complete with draping and this AMAZING custom built chandelier trio. It is so gorgeous!
Andi's Invites of Cedar Rapids provided us with stationery for the shoot. I love the soft blues with floral detailing on the invitation suite! Perfect!
Just a Spoonful of Sugar made the cake. I cannot get over how beautiful it was. Love the macarons and meringues! Plus the cake was DELICIOUS!!
Borrow My Vintage from West Branch supplied this fantastic blue velvet couch. It was perfect for this shoot!
The arch below is one of the ceremony location option at The Red Barn, just down the hill from the barn and tent. The sunlight through the trees there was so beautiful. And can we take a moment to fully appreciate the stunning florals by E's?
Remember how I mentioned wildflower fields? Um, yeah. They are fantastic!!
Oh, and the timber was pretty spectacular too!!
