102519-001 After what felt like weeks of rain and wind, causing us to reschedule twice, we ended up with the perfect fall evening for Collin and Emilee's engagement session.  We met at Hartman Nature Reserve in Waterloo and found some amazing locations!  The sunlight in this little meadow was gorgeous for these lovebirds. 102519-025 102519-031 On the way into the parking lot, there was a boldly painted bridge.  Of course we had to stop for a few portraits there!  The autumn foliage was stunning! 102519-036 102519-041 I love Emilee's hat!  I adore it when couples have fun with accessories for their session.  It really let's their personalities shine. 102519-043 102519-064 102519-068 After the bridge, we headed to the other side of the Hartman Nature Reserve to walk the trails.  It is such a lovely area, I could spend hours there!  I love that Emilee and Collin brought along a blanket to snuggle in! 102519-073 102519-081 102519-087 102519-094 102519-103 Our final stop was downtown Cedar Falls.  Such a great variety of locations in just a few blocks!  I love the changing ivy leaves with Emilee's dress! 102519-135 102519-137 102519-140 102519-154 102519-157 Collin and Emilee were naturals in front of the camera!  They were so easy to work with; they made my job easy! 102519-158 102519-172 102519-190 102519-202 102519-209 102519-219 This last image is my favorite of the session I think.  We were walking back to the cars after what we thought was the end of the session, when I saw all the golden ginko leaves on the sidewalk.  Thankfully, Collin and Emilee are amazing and were up for my crazy request of asking them to lie in the leaves while I stood on a bench to capture a series of images.  Love it so much!  These two are rock stars!! 102519-224 I am so excited to capture Collin and Emilee's gorgeous wedding next October!  It is going to be gorgeous!!
