After their ceremony, Jonathan and Emily stayed in the church for their family and bridal party portraits before they headed out to Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville for their reception.
I love having the opportunity to get into a reception hall, all set up for the evening, before the guests arrive. It allows me time to capture all the details without worrying about getting in the way of guests.
Thankfully, Jonathan and Emily planned their timeline with lots of time for portraits before the reception began. Love it! It was wonderful to be able to take our time and not feel like we were rushing through.
Can we stop a moment and admire how stunning Emily's dress and veil are?! GORGEOUS!!
Her flowers were simply stunning as well. Love them!
Toward the end of our portrait time, the bridal party joined us for some more fun and relaxed portraits. The terrace at Brown Deer made for a perfect location.
Love the guys' socks!!
After dinner, we stepped out on to the golf course for some sunset portraits. Seriously, golden hour is my favorite time of day. Such beautiful light and glow!
The reception was filled with heartfelt toasts by their loved ones.
From the moment the dance floor opened up, the party was jumping. What a fun group! I love a good dance floor filled with smiling faces and people dancing with joy! Jonathan and Emily's reception definitely delivered!!
Congratulations, Jonathan and Emily! It has been such a joy getting to know you both while capturing your engagement and wedding day!!
