012620-02012620-02 It was a cold day, but absolutely worth it for this beautiful shoot!  On a beautiful winter day, we headed to Garden Grove, Iowa to Iowa Reindeer Rentals for this amazing frozen inspiration shoot. 012620-06012620-06 How fantastic are these earrings from Wells Cooperative?  Seriously!!  They are perfect for this year's blue color of the year.  They would also be a gorgeous "something blue" for a wedding day! 012620-08012620-08 How amazing is this sweetheart table set in the frozen woods?  The silvers and blues are perfect!  Each chair is draped with a fur to keep the couple warm.  Vintage Love Rentals has such amazing design vision and created this gorgeous look! 012620-11012620-11 If you remember a few weeks ago I shared a post about the sugar cookies I'd recently made.  Well, I thought it might be fun to make some sweets for this shoot.  How fun are these sugar cookie place cards?  Plus they are a delicious salted-caramel flavor.  Yum!! 012620-12012620-12 012620-18012620-18 012620-21012620-21 I love the silver chargers!  They are beautiful, organic shapes that almost feel like ice crystals.  Perfection! 012620-30012620-30 Meet Andy the reindeer!  He was so much fun to see.  He is one of four reindeer at Iowa Reindeer Rentals in Garden Grove, and was the only on who still had both antlers at the time of the shoot.  Apparently it is the season to shed those big antlers!  Glad he had hung on to his for the shoot! 012620-23012620-23 Andy got to hang out with our beautiful junior bridesmaid model, my oldest daughter.  She didn't really volunteer for this gig, but she was a trooper and put up with having her hair done and standing in the cold in a beautiful gown (though she is wearing a shirt and thick pants under the gown, rocking some warm winter boots, and had a warm vehicle to sit in when she wasn't in front of the camera.  Hypothermia and frost bite are real, my friends).  I think she was pretty excited to get to hang with a real life reindeer too! 012620-41012620-41 How stunning is this silvery-blue bridesmaid's dress by Designed by Kanya Marie!!  So beautiful!  As I mentioned before, it was cold!  So we didn't have much opportunity to show of the top of the dress, but I think it still looks fabulous with the silvery fur wrap. 012620-43012620-43 I love the lantern in lieu of a bouquet.  It fits perfectly with the decor and looks lovely in this wintery setting. 012620-37012620-37 012620-46012620-46 Did I mention I love baking?  I had so much fun working on my macaron making skills for this shoot.  I wish you all could have tried them!  I think I finally have the hang of macarons.  These beautiful blue macarons are topped with a sprinkle of silvery luster dust and were a fun addition to this shoot.  In case you're wondering, the dark blue are caramel flavored, the medium blue are vanilla, and the light blue are almond.  So yummy! 012620-48012620-48 012620-53012620-53 My daughter was such a sport about getting dressed up and modeling in the cold for this shoot.  I think her real motivation to participate were the macarons.  As soon as we wrapped, she asked if she could have some!  Of course I said yes!! 012620-58012620-58 012620-62012620-62 I hope you loved this winter-y frozen themed wedding inspiration shoot as much as the other vendors and I do!  I know Iowa winters can be super unpredictable, but they can also be absolutely stunning!

I absolutely love this shoot!! The reindeer, decor, your daughter, that dress!!! I think the blue reindeer halter was spot on! How amazing that you bake macaroons too! I have an extra large compote that would be fun to fill with a macaroon tower!
