If you've read my blog for a while, you probably know how much I love albums. I value them so much I design and order them for our family, especially for our international travels. I have an album from our trip to Japan in 2010, our family trip to Iceland and France in 2017, Josh an my anniversary trip to Italy in 2018, and our family trip to Mexico in 2019. LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!!! Seriously, looking through them is a wonderful flood of memories and moments. It's like going back! However, it has bothered me that our images from our trip to China and Australia in 2005 sat on the bookshelf in cheap Walmart photo albums because we were in college at the time and didn't put as much thought into displaying them. Then, the whirlwind that is life swept us away in a busy blur of moving, starting a family, a deployment, running a business, and... well... just other life things. So, I decided to seize the moment and take this downtime to do what I've been putting on the back burner for years, the China & Australia album!
I have spent a good chunk of hours today photographing my old photographs since I don't have a scanner. I have started editing them, but that is going to take a bit yet too. As tedious as this part of the project is, I cannot wait to see the final album and be able to add it to all the other travel albums that decorate our living room and remind us of our adventures!!
I'll be sure to share the final product with you all once it's here!
