Following the ceremony, we headed to Waukon's city park for a few portraits. The afternoon light through the trees was perfection. Love it!
Hope and Elliott pose together so naturally. It was so easy to photograph them. They are naturals!
During a stop in Rossville, I took a few moments to capture the stunning details of their rings and Hope's gorgeous shoes.
The final stop between the ceremony and reception was another gorgeous location. The bright blue sky and green rolling hills were a perfect setting.
Their wedding reception was held at the Waukon Banquet Center, which I had only been to once before. It was many years ago though, so it was fun getting a chance to go back there. I love all of the white, silver, gray, and ivory touches. The backdrop behind the head table was stunning.
After making their grand entrance, Elliott and Hope headed over to the cake table to cut the cake. Their custom cake topper was perfect and I loved the stand of cupcakes next to their beautiful two tier wedding cake.
The rest of the evening was filled with great food, celebrating with friends and family, and heartfelt toasts.
Hope's sister and maid of honor, may have had a little time on her hands when preparing her speech for the toasts. She pulled off a brilliant rap recounting Hope and Elliott's relationship. Seriously, one of the absolute best toasts ever!!!
Later in the evening, the dances began. You could see the joy on their faces as Hope and Elliott took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. Beautiful!
It was such a pleasure capturing Hope and Elliott's beautiful wedding day! Best wishes to them as they begin their married life together!!
Thank you to Summer Schrock for assisting me in capturing this gorgeous wedding!
